Where Economics Pedagogy Meets the Coast
Welcome to the 2nd Annual C.A.P.E. (Conference on Academic Pedagogy in Economics). Built on the legacy of the long-running UNCW Economics Workshop, whose very first edition featured former Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke as a speaker, C.A.P.E. continues to advance economics education in an expanded day-and-a-half conference format.
Join us at the beautiful Courtyard Marriott at Carolina Beach for a Friday evening opening reception and keynote, followed by a full day Saturday of breakout sessions, ocean-view lunch, and networking with 70+ economists from across the state and beyond.
The call for abstracts has closed and our presenters have been selected through blind review by a committee with members from various universities. Registration is now open to everyone: you do not need to present in order to attend, and early bird pricing runs through August 31st.
